Our principle idea was to get people to “pay for something that is free”.

We were inspired by “donate or download models” that popular software like Blender follow. The filter and the sticker here becomes an unspoken symbol of being an active player of the COVID-19 fight, even in confinement, while also being a ‘call’ for new persons to join by donation, hence the “Donate To Play”. The hearts represent ‘lives’ as they do in video games, which is a representation of saving lives by donating. We aim to make people feel like an active part of the solution, to empower them to help in small ways while using a medium that has a wide reach.
